Dia De Los Muertos/Day of the Dead Pillar Candle

This candle was created in celebration of the Day of the Dead but can be used any time of the year when one wishes to honour their ancestors and those that have passed before us.

The Day of the Dead, celebrated Nov. 1-2 is when families gather in the graveyards or create Offrenedas (altars) to celebrate their ancestors. The holiday coincides with the end of the agricultural cycle. Indigenous pueblos in Mexico saw it as a time to give thanks for the year's harvest as well as honour their ancestors.
